物理医学与康复杂志被Medline收录

　　Dear PM&R Associate Editor,

　　It is with great pleasure and sincere thanks that I inform you of the following: PM&R (the Purple Journal) has been accepted for inclusion in MEDLINE! In the life of every scientific journal, securing indexing is a huge milestone. The efforts and commitment of the entire editorial board and the Elsevier publishing team have allowed us to hurdle this challenge in just a short 6 months. Not only will all articles from here forward be indexed, but all material published since issue one will be retroactively indexed. That is the reward to all of the Associate Editors and authors who took the risk of submitting manuscripts to a new journal. I am eternally thankful for that support.

　　Now that our future is brighter, it doesn't get any easier. We will receive more manuscripts to review and both the senior editors and I will be requesting help from the Associate Editors. In fact, I am hopeful and expecting that all Associate Editors will now share their work through PM&R since the indexing uncertainty factor is permanently null and void. And to remain a premier journal, I continue to expect all Associate Editors to ambassador the journal to potential authors, reviewers, colleagues, students and home institutional libraries.

　　Let me say again how appreciative and thankful I am to you. We started on the ground floor just 6 months ago and now we have a great view. So let's keep climbing.

　　我怀着无比激动和感激的心情告知各位：PM&R杂志已被MEDLINE收录。在每一本科学期刊的发展旅程中，获得索引是一个巨大的里程碑。全体编委以及Elsevier出版商的共同努力和奉献使我们能在短短6个月里赢得挑战。不仅本刊未来的文章纳入索引，而且过去发表的文章也同样被纳入。这对于所有编委和冒险向新杂志投稿的作者来说是一种奖励。我永远感谢大家的支持。

　　我们的前途光明，却来之不易。我们将接收更多的稿件来审阅，我和所有的高级编委请求各位编委的帮助。实际上，由于本刊得到Medline索引，我很希望和期待所有的编委通过本刊和大家分享他们的工作。同时，为了保持杂志的重要性，我仍然期望所有的副主编把杂志介绍给有潜质的作者、评阅者、同事、学生和国内机构的图书馆。
